About our delivery service

We have our own fleet of furniture vans and do all our own deliveries.  From our lifetime of experience we feel that this is by far the best way to maintain our high level of customer service, it allows us much more control over your delivery and affords us both peace of mind in the knowledge that your furniture will be treated in the best possible way.

Where do we deliver?

We deliver throughout mainland UK with the following exceptions.  Postcodes TR,PL,TQ.  We sincerely apologise to the people in the south west of England, but bearing in mind we are based in Dundee, Scotland we are afraid we may not do them as efficiently as we would like.  The same applies to all the UK islands and Northern Ireland.

How much will my delivery cost?

We offer free delivery on all orders over £500. All orders below £500 will incur a £25 delivery charge.

How long will my delivery take?

Our vans are circling the country all the time and we try to complete all the deliveries within 14 days, some more remote areas may take a little longer.  For your peace of mind before ordering please contact us for a more accurate timescale.

What happens once I have ordered?

We greatly appreciate you order and we will call you within 24 hours of you ordering to confirm receipt and to discuss a mutually convenient delivery date.   Depending on the delivery route we may not be able to deliver precisely on the date or time best suited for you, but in any case this will all be confirmed by telephone days prior to the delivery day.  However we will try to do our best and the delivery person can give you a call on the day of delivery.

What happens on day of delivery?

All our deliveries are carried out by our standard one person delivery service.  We do this to keep our costs down which is passed on to our customers.   Delivery will be to inside your front door.   The driver will certainly assist you whenever possible to move the furniture further within your house.  The driver won’t unpack the furniture nor take the boxes away….sorry.

What happens if the delivery has failed?

Our drivers can only wait a short time as they normally have a pretty hectic schedule. If no one is home at the agreed time and cannot return reasonably quickly the driver will move on. If it’s not our fault a redelivery charge of £49 will have to be made.  If it is our fault we will try to rectify it as soon as possible and at no charge obviously
