Placing an Order

You can order by following the instructions on our website or by calling us on 01382 611825. Once an order has been placed we will make contact with you within one working day to discuss and determine a date for delivery. Under no circumstances will we pass your data to a third party.

Paying for your Order

Payment can be made at the point of sale on our website or by calling us on 01382 611825. We accept most credit and debit cards except American Express. We can accept a cheque although the goods will not be despatched till it’s cleared. We can offer finance by Hitachi Finance, call us on 01382 611825 for a quote.

Delivery Information

We run our own fleet of furniture vans and do all our own deliveries. From over 30 years of experience we feel that this is by far the best way to maintain our high level of customer service, it allows us much more control over your delivery and affords us both peace of mind in the knowledge that your furniture will be treated in the best possible way. We deliver throughout mainland UK with the following exceptions…..postcodes TR, PL,TQ. We sincerely apologise to the people in the southwest, but bearing in mind we are based in Dundee, Scotland we are afraid we may do deliver as efficiently as we would like. The same applies to all UK islands and Northern Ireland. We offer Free Delivery on all orders. We aim to deliver all orders within 14 days, some more remote areas may take a little longer. For reassurance please call us before ordering. We will call you to discuss a mutually convenient delivery date. Depending on the route we may not be able to deliver precisely on the date and time best suited for you, but in any case this will all be confirmed by telephone days prior to the delivery date. However we will try to do our best and the delivery person can call you on the day of the delivery with a more accurate time. All our deliveries are carried out by our standard one person delivery service. We do this to keep our costs down which we pass on to our customers. Delivery will be to inside your front door, the driver can assist you whenever possible to move the furniture further within your home. The driver won’t unpack the furniture nor take the boxes away….Sorry ! Our drivers can only wait a short time as the always have a hectic schedule. If no one is at home at the agreed time and cannot return within half an hour the driver will move on. If it’s not our fault a redelivery charge of £25 will have to be made. If it is our fault we will try to rectify it as soon as possible and at no charge obviously.

Returns Information

If you find your purchase flawed we will exchange it as soon as we can redeliver, and we sincerely apologise for your inconvenience. We ask that you send by email photographs of the fault to us at sales@furnituremountain.co.uk. If possible we are happy for you to use the item till we are able to exchange. Purchases online allows you 14 days from the time of delivery to cancel your order. We can only accept returned items if they are unused and repacked in the original undamaged packaging. We cannot accept mattresses once they have been unpacked for hygiene reasons, and we cannot accept furniture which has been assembled. If the returned item is damaged or repacked unsatisfactorily we reserve the right to deduct a proportionate amount from the refund. A collection charge of £49 will be levied and the collection will be done on the first available delivery slot. Refunds will be issued within 2 working days after the item is back in our warehouse and has been checked and signed off. We can only refund the card used initially. For clarity, when we describe an item as being distressed, it means that the finish is not perfect and no two items have the same markings. The furniture might have minor splits or shakes and some artificial markings on them. These are meant and makes the item unique. Small white scallop markings on pieces of oak, commonly known as ‘tiger paw marks’ are an integral part of the character of the oak furniture, we do not regard these as a fault. Also, please remember that furniture changes colour depending on the amount of light cast on it, so items bought from the same range at different intervals will be a slightly different colour initially but will all mellow to the same in time. At all times our aim is to leave our customers satisfied and none of the above affects your statutory rights
